85% attendance is required for the students in order to appear for any examination held in school or the Council Examinations.
Students must attend school regularly. However, a child should not come to school if he/she is not well. Once a child comes to school he/she is expected to remain in school till dismissal.
A child must not come to school only to answer a test. If the child goes home after answering a test, his/her test will be treated as cancelled.
Students are expected to come to school well in time. Late comers will be sent home after third warning.
If a child is absent for any reason, a leave note must be written and signed by the parent in the child’s diary. He/she will not be allowed to attend the class unless he/she brings a leave note from the parent.
For absence of more than three days, prior written permission must be taken from the principal.
If a child is absent for more than three days due to illness, his leave note must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate.
A student who is absent for 8 days or more without information, will be considered as having left the school and his/her name will be struck off the roll and has to submit to a formal re-admission by paying a fee of Rs. 500/- when he/she returns.
A child is expected to be present on the last working day before every vacation and on the reopening day. Otherwise marks will be deducted from the terminal examination.
Parents are advised not to bring projects, tiffin boxes and water bottles to school during the school hours and are also advised to leave the child near the main gate.
